🛡️ Security

Security you don't
have to think about

Every Reachr session is encrypted end-to-end, runs directly between your two PCs, and connects only when you say so. No always-on agents watching your screen. No middleman holding your pixels.

AES-256
Authenticated encryption on every session payload.
DTLS / TLS
Transport secured with the same standards as your bank.
P2P
Direct peer-to-peer link — your screen isn't relayed by default.
2FA
Optional two-factor login and device-bound trust.
How we protect you

Six layers, working quietly

You don't configure any of this. It's how Reachr behaves out of the box.

End-to-end encryption

Keys are negotiated between the two devices. What travels between them is encrypted the whole way — nobody in the middle can read it.

You approve every connection

Nobody reaches your PC without the ID and password you choose to share — and you can require a manual accept on every incoming session.

Two-factor login

Protect your Reachr account with 2FA, so a leaked password alone can never unlock your saved devices.

Trusted devices

Mark your own machines as trusted for one-click reconnects — and revoke that trust the instant a device is lost.

Direct, not relayed

Reachr links your devices peer-to-peer. A secure TURN relay is used only when a firewall blocks the direct path — and it still can't read your encrypted stream.

Session, then gone

When you disconnect, the link closes. Reachr doesn't keep a recording of your screen or a copy of the files you moved.

Your data, your machines

We can't see your screen.
By design.

Reachr connects your two computers directly and encrypts the link end-to-end. Your screen, your files, and your keystrokes travel between your devices — not through a server that stores them.

No always-on agent watching
Reachr only streams while a session you approved is live.
No screen recordings kept
Pixels are streamed, not stored. Close the session and it's gone.
Relay can't read your stream
Even when a TURN relay is needed, the payload stays encrypted end-to-end.
